From father to son, Stuart Weitzman has redefined the idea of shoes starting from a solid traditional base, the factory founded by his father Seymour in years '50 in Haverhill, Massachusetts, where he started drawing in the early '60. Weitzman's stylistic imprint features the choice of unique materials: cork, vinyl, Plexiglas, wallpaper, gold, a choice that has peaked in 2002, when he created the "million dollar shoes" in platinum and diamonds for Laura Harring for the Oscars.
