In 1895 Daniel Swarovski fine-tuned a specific technique for precision cutting crystal. He wanted to make "a diamond for everyone", and make every woman's dream come true. His success was immediate: in the 1920s, American Jazz clubs and Parisian couture houses were lit by Swarovski. Since then, thanks to a constant evolution of techniques and materials, design and research, Swarovski has become the undisputed leading company in the manufacture of cut crystals.
