Color, vivacity, originality: the distinctive factors of the Vilebrequin brand are still those of the day of its birth. In the summer of 1971, inspired by St Tropez's "mood" , the photographer Fred Prysquel sketched on a cafe paper tablecloth "his" swimming shorts. Made from sail fabric, the loose and light boxers designed to dry quickly conquered the boutiques of St Tropez. Being a mix of lifestyle and design, Vilebrequin has established itself internationally thanks to the launch in 1995 of the concept "Father and Son".
