From the Siberian steppes to Paris, that of Yves Salomon is the unique history of a brand based on artisan wisdom and knowledge of ancient techniques. In 1910 Gregory Solomon, a Russian dissident, is exiled with his family to Siberia. Here he learns leathers treatment knowledge, which he brings with himself to Paris, where he opens his own workshop. In 1972 the grandson Yves collects the legacy of his father and grandfather, turning it into a unique fashion house, which now works a hundred different kinds of fur.
