Made of leather, fabric or suede, sneakers are popular in fashion victims' wardrobe
Sneakers are now officially accepted to be combined with all kinds of outfits, and are essential to stay fit just by walking around the city, between one appointment and the next, even when meetings call for a sophisticated and elegant look. The worn-effect vintage look has become an evergreen, as proposed by Autry: upper in used-effect leather with multi-layer inserts in contrasting colours, and the special «Game Set Match!» slogan printed on the side of the rubber sole. Axel Arigato draws inspiration for his clean lines and minimalist look from the running shoes of the '90s: his Marathon Runner sneakers feature the typical mesh fabric and a very thick sole. The sports shoes from Off-White are true cult objects; some discontinued models that reached record prices in some on-line auctions show a highly identifiable style, with particular attention to the choice of colours.
