The new elegance in men's outfits
From Gucci to Givenchy and to Off-White, top designers revisit men's suits
Alexander McQueen reinterprets pinstriped blazers and updates them with a layered design- superimposed double lapel and buttoning for a 'two jackets' effect. This is also the triumphant comeback of cobalt blue to men's suits. And Givenchy follows along the same lines aiming at total stylishness in the cuts of his oversize double-breasted jackets in refined pearl grey. Virgil Abloh revisits Off-White's men's clothes with a futuristic twist for this spring/summer 2020 season. Logo in relief on the fabric, drawstring tie cuffs, and hidden zip fastening at the front of the jacket. Dries Van Noten opts for basic lines and leaves the eccentric touch to the prints on the fabrics- leopard designs and large flowers in shades of ochre. Gucci revisits classicism with an ironic twist as he leaves bastes visible in his tweed suits.
