Between classic ideas and more creative reinterpretations, one thing is certain about men's jeans for summer 2020: the trend is the total look. MSGM offers Bermuda shorts and shirt outfits crafted from denim with a 'blue water' effect, a washed-out process that reproduces a motif of small waves. For Off-White, Virgil Abloh presented on the catwalk a collection of jeans in a gradation of colour, from blue to white, obtained by means of a very aggressive washing process. The skinny trousers by Balmain are heavily ripped in a quite 'used' style. On the other hand, Loewe presented softer lines on the catwalks to favour comfort, like in the wide trousers with a drawstring at the waist, cut below the knee, and with oversized turn-ups. Balenciaga keeps the classic lines of the denim jackets of the '80s, with the fabric in original colours or slightly lightened, but the logo is always present- this time printed in large letters across the buttoning.
