Wide-legged trousers and mini cardigans
High-waisted, flared, or with slits, to be combined with masculine-inspired shirts or bold cardigans
Once again flared trousers, the symbol of rebellion of the '70s when they were ultra-popular, are one of the trends not to be missed this summer. These models, also called bell-bottom or twist, are close fitting on the thigh and flared from the knee down, and adjust to any body shape. To emphasise this evocation of the seventies even more, La DoubleJ has designed them featuring a high waist, with a wide waistband, and patterns that resemble the prints of those times, of true "Flower Children". That is, floral motifs within symmetric patterns, in bright and contrasting colours. On the other hand, fashionistas are now obsessed with split-hem trousers: a straight leg fit and a sexy slit that reveals foot and ankle on the slightly flared bottom. The version by The Attico comes in blazing or pastel colours, mainly matched with sandals with block or stiletto heels that highlight the slit. The top that makes up the perfect comb is, without a doubt, a micro-cardigan, without buttons but with just a clasp fastening, like in the models by Jacquemus.
