Antonio Marras still lives in Sardinia, well aware of the fact that his creative force comes from the island. His first self-titled collection, launched in 1996, already contained all of the key elements of his style: attention to artisanship, Sardinia as inspiration, and the "ligazzio rubio" or red thread as trademark of his work. And then there is his love of contrasts: burns on beautiful fabrics, embroidered gauzes, exposed edges and brocades that make his creations works of art.
