about Kenzo

His design is the happy encounter of Orient and Occident. Kenzo Takada, to most just Kenzo, moved to Paris after graduating from fashion school in Tokyo. In 1970 he opened his first boutique, Jungle Jap, in the Galérie Vivienne. There, the designer started to make his unique creations. The originality of Kenzo's designs shocks and surprises, and the fashion world immediately falls in love with his celebration of these two cultures, so diverse and yet so intimately connected through his art.
