The shade is hand-modelled from the transparent polymer lentiflex® developed by slamp as an upwardly open, irregularly curved and folded flower calyx, which is supported by a stem made of flexible copper wire. The pistils disperse the heat from the leds and shield their warm white light. The 5v lipo battery provides 6 hours of operation and charges via an integrated usb port.
