Our slippers are carefully hand-felted using 100% raw sheep wool, soap and water. The shades of grey, brown and cream are completely natural, while other colours are produced using azo-free dyes. Wool is a natural insulator, with high breathability, and it resists odours due to its natural antibacterial properties. Wool is one of the best fabrics in existence; it requires relatively little water for its production. Our slippers are hand-felted by a women's co-operative in nepal. Each piece is made around a reusable 'resist' mould and felted by hand, they are dried in the sun and the suede sole is beautifully machine-stitched into place to finish each pair..
