Colourful or au naturel: welcome back to leather!

The material of the season? Leather, unquestionably. We have often seen on the catwalks in total look versions. The must-have is the combination of shorts and a jacket like Emily Ratajkowski did. And there are certainly plenty of choices: Saint Laurent adds to shorts the detail of a black leather belt and American-style pockets; Isabel Marant goes for metallic silver, and Miu Miu also draws attention to the belt detail in black leather and tobacco brown suede versions. To complete the look, the timeless biker jacket by Balmain with a snug-fitting belt and metallic gold-tone details. For a softer style, Rick Owens designs a black jacket closed by a long zipper that forms the large reversed collar. Loewe offers a short-sleeved shirt jacket, delightful in baby blue. And in a season in which leather is king, draped and pleated dresses cannot be left out, such as the off-shoulder midi-dress by Proenza Schouler, in an absolutely chic shade of pink, and the one with an asymmetrical hem and draped neckline by Bottega Veneta.
