Mountains long for white

There is no plan B: to be elegant in the snow, this year we are going in white. On the snow-covered slopes, in the warm hotel stubes and in front of chalet fireplaces, the 'non-colour' par excellence gives little chance: there is just a thin black line at the end of the sleeve, to underline the elegance of the off-white jumper crafted from cashmere, wool, and silk by Brunello Cucinelli. The same goes for Moncler's Grenoble down jacket, with high cuffs featuring thumbholes, that can be worn with or without the black elasticated belt. The turtle-neck jumper by Bogner is still white, but features lively Nordic-inspired patterns in shades of pink. Cordova goes for dirty white for their very warm fleece trousers with wide and straight legs, while the ski pants by Fendi and Polo Ralph Lauren do not deviate from this trend: white 'contaminated' by black micro-details is even more dazzling.
